WAPT Pro provides a testing environmentconsisting of two different components connected to each other overTCP/IP. The workplace component provides a convenient userinterface for a test engineer and manages the load agent servicecomponent. The latter is used to generate the test volume. Suchdistributed architecture allows you to use a productive server forload generation and manage the whole testing process remotely fromyour own workstation. You can use many load agents and easilyswitch between them depending on your testing needs.

To achieve maximum performance WAPT Pro can use multiple computersto create the required load level. On each of these computers mustbe running a special service called the agent. All these agents arecontrolled from the tester’s workstation using the data componentWAPT Pro. This component is responsible for the distribution ofwork between the agents and collect test results. The work isdistributed in accordance with the free resources on each computer.When the agents are experiencing excessive stress, WAPT Proprovides appropriate warning messages.
