The Media Player 11interface makes finding the media you want easier than ever. Thecomplicated (and sometimes convoluted) trees that once appeared inthe Media Player Library are gone. Now when you select a categoryfrom the Library, the content in that category appears off to theright instead of under the category on the left. Finally, no morelong album and artist listings that scroll intoinfinity!
With the trees gone, Media Player 11 iseasier to navigate than any of its predecessors. There aren’t anylines between the trees, album information, or CD cover art, andthe default album art view now shows album art and trackinformation in the center of the screen. All of this makes findingthe information you want a lot easier.
Along with enhanced views, the buttons at the top of the interfacecontain new shortcuts. Some of my favorites include adjustingformat and bitrate on the fly for CD ripping, and switching backand forth from audio to data settings for CD burning. With thesenew shortcuts, you’ll spend more time viewing and listening to yourmedia, and less time managing it.
