Family trees are imported intoTreeDraw from “Kith and Kin Pro” databases or from GEDCOM filesproduced by other genealogy programs. TreeDraw maintains a link between each chart text element and thesource field in the original Kith and Kin Pro database. This meansthat you can update each text element automatically to mirror anychanges in the original data. The tree link for each text elementcan also be modified manually. This is a powerful feature whichgives you control over the content and format of the text in thechart.
Additional text elements may be entered manually to provide titles,headings, comments, etc. As well as text, you can place into thechart simple graphics (lines, boxes, circles) and images likepictures, clip-art, diagrams, etc.
TreeDraw lets you control the size, shape, style, colour andalignment of all chart elements and supports colour printing. Youcan export your chart as an Adobe PDF file which can be viewed onany PC with the Acrobat Reader.
Once imported you can rearrange your chart, add pictures, graphicsand extra text, combine multiple trees in the same chart. Optionsallow you to control which data to import and how it is laidout.
