Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit is a straightforwardpiece of software that protects your system’s vulnerable pointsfrom web-based attacks.
The installation procedure takes little time to finish and doesnot need special attention from the user. At startup, MalwarebytesAnti-Exploit creates an icon in the system tray area and activatesthe protection status.
You can bring up the main application window to view total shieldedapplications, blocked exploit attempts, and quarantined files.
In the secondary tab you can view the list of third-partyapplications that can be guarded by Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit. Itincludes Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer and Opera, Java, AdobeAcrobat, Microsoft office tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), VLCMedia Player, and so on.
All activity is recorded to a log window; selected entries can beexcluded from the list as well as cleared. It is possible to createexclusions when it comes to guarded applications. There are noother notable features provided by the application.
Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit runs on a barely noticeable amount of CPUand RAM, so it is not a concern to the computer’s overallperformance. Since it minimizes to the taskbar, it does notinterfere in the user’s regular activity.
We have not come across any issues throughout our evaluation, asthe app did not hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. All in all,Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit is a simple yet effective tool forsafeguarding programs against e-threats.
