Dlubal RX‑TIMBER designs glued‑laminated beams,continuous beams, and columns at the ultimate and theserviceability limit state according to the timber standard EN1995‑1‑1:2010‑12/NA:2013‑08 (EC 5) and DIN 1052:2008‑12. Inaddition, it is possible to perform fire resistance designaccording to EN 1995‑1‑2 or DIN 4102, Part 22.
RX-TIMBER Glued-Laminated Beam designswide-span glulam beams of eight different beam types (parallel,monopitch roof, double tapered beam, and others). It is possible toconsider typical stiffening elements for transversal tension, forexample bonded steel bars.
RX-TIMBER Continuous Beam designs single-span andcontinuous beams as well as hinged girder systems (Gerber) with orwithout cantilevers.
RX-TIMBER Column designs hinged columns(optionally with elastic head or footing restraint) and brackets(optionally with elastic foundation of the footing column). Theprogram provides round and rectangular cross-sections.
Four further programs are available: RX-TIMBERPurlin designs coupled purlins and continuous beams,RX-TIMBER Frame designs three‑hinged frames,RX‑TIMBER Brace designs truss bracing, andRX‑TIMBER Roof designs monopitch and duopitchroofs.
